Porsche 996 GT3 Manifolds

Our Porsche 996 manifolds are fabricated completely from Stainless Steel 304 or Inconel 625 and follow the same layout as the standard Porsche parts. Using mandrel bent tube we are able to create a free flowing exhaust manifold that performs exceptionally well. All of the joints on the manifold are TIG welded and back purged to the highest standard to increase gas flow and also to produce the strongest possible joint.

We have changed the design of the three into one collector to help reduce the risk of cracking between the collector legs that is a common occurrence on the standard Porsche manifolds. A lambda boss is fitted on each manifold allowing use of the original lambda sensor fitted to the car.

Porsche 996 GT3 Re-packable Silencer

Our Porsche 996 Re-packable Silencer is a direct replacement for the standard Porsche part. Using the standard mounts and fitting the standard link pipes the silencer is very easy to fit. Each end of the silencer is removable to allow for repacking as necessary and also to replace parts as they wear or are damaged. Inside the silencer are two 100 cell catalytic converters, these catalysts are free flowing and conform to the latest regulations. The complete silencer assembly is fabricated using Stainless Steel 304 meaning that the silencer is strong and durable yet still light weight.

With ever tightening noise limits at tracks around the country and abroad we have paid particular attention to the noise level of our silencer. Recent tests show that it achieves 102db @ ¾ rpm.

We can only rely on our customers to prove how our exhausts perform on the track and with Neil Garner Performance Engineering our exhaust was fitted to their 996 GT3 which won Class 3 and came 3rd overall at the 2010 Britcar 24hrs.

Porsche RSR Manifolds

Our Porsche RSR manifolds are a direct replacement for the standard Porsche part. Available in either Stainless Steel 304 or Inconel 625 these manifolds are an excellent choice for those racers looking to replace their current manifolds. Using the same head flange and outlet ring design our manifolds are easy to fit.

All of our manifolds utilise mandrel bent tube and are fully TIG welded and back purged to the highest possible standards to produce strong, lightweight and exceptionally high performing manifolds.

Exhaust materials explained

Stainless Steel 304 – this material is strong and relatively light weight and provides a lower cost alternative to the Inconel manifolds whilst giving the same performance benefits.

Inconel 625 – the added advantages of Inconel over Stainless Steel are that due to a higher melting point the Inconel manifolds can be fabricated using a thinner wall thickness tube making them lighter. Inconel has a lower ‘creep’ percentage than Stainless Steel meaning that it doesn’t expand as much when heated and is therefore more resistant to cracking.
